Jun 09, 2013 · I am trying connect my itunes library using home sharing to my uncles apple tv running verizon fios. I get the screen that says connecting to my library but then it just times out. I also try to airplay from my macbook pro to the apple tv and get the same result, times out after awhile. Any help Jan 24, 2015 · This hasn't worked with Yosemite for several months now. It keeps saying it cannot connect to my library. I know my Apple TV acknowledges that my iTunes is there because when I have my iTunes open I get the Apple TV logo on my TV. However, when I quit out of iTunes, it changes and shows the Home Sharing message on my tv.
